Aug 8, 2012 6:20 PM   Inspired by the shadows it casts, the Silhouette Lamp is unassuming and elegant. Turn it to its side, and you might mistake it for a coat rack because it's so slender. It uses an acrylic shade that doesn't look like a shade at all. Its unexpected design was actually intended for smaller homes where you might need a subtle ways to break the space up. And what a nice way to do so. Not available yet, but the designer, Wewood says it's coming soon. Aug 8, 2012 12:00 PM   A spiral staircase is a gorgeous feature of this Beirut home. And .PSLAB has made the gem even better, by adding a modern circular chandelier above it. The curving white fixture seems to move in tandem with the steps, lighting your ascent like a lantern from the sky. Though it was added after the steps were built, it actually looks like it was originally intended to be there.
