So while California College of Arts student Daye Kim's actually designed the Whaletale suitcase mat for parents wrangling kids while traveling, it also seems incredibly handy for anyone dealing with an overcrowded airport. When folded up the Whaletale straps to the underside of a rolling suitcase so you still have access to the bag's contents through the lid. But when opened and spread out on the ground, the blanket provides a large and clean place for feeding or changing infants, for kids to play, or for embargo-racing bloggers to work. And since it always remains tethered to a suitcase, the Whaletale even provides a place to lean up against when sitting for those times when airport walls are already filled with passengers with the same idea. According to Broadband Reports sources, Comcast's Neil Smit told employees that the company would be introducing a 305Mbps downstream tier in Verizon FiOS territories "soon," but neglected to mention a strict timetable. Details regarding pricing and data caps are similarly scarce, of course. Comcast has yet to comment on the rumor, but we'll let you know if we hear anything official.
