The Portable iPhone Turntable Setup For Nomadic DJsPushing the limits of what can be considered an iPod/iPhone dock, Philips' FWP3200D is like an all-in-one DJ stage show with a pair of 5.25-inch subwoofers that glow and pulse to your music—and a set of digital turntables letting you mix and scratch your beats.

The rig can access music from two iPhones or iPods at once when they're docked in the center of the turntables, or from a flash drive connected to a USB port. And if the simple crossfader or rudimentary scratch effects aren't sufficient for your advanced DJ skills, the dock is also compatible with the Algoriddim djay app which provides more advanced functionality for creating mixes and matching beats. With a price tag of almost $470 (plus, uh, the cost of two iphones or ipod touches) the FWP3200D sits in the upper echelon of iOS docks, but it's still considerably cheaper than picking up a pair of Technics 1200s and a decent mixer. Particularly if you have no intentions of ever performing outside of your living room.

c - Android and JNI real time clock -
